Student Travel Grant Results
We are pleased to announce the results of the ISSRE 2025 Student Travel Grant Call, organized by the Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
This year, we received 16 applications — 50% men and 50% women — from six countries: Brazil (8), China (3), Pakistan (2), Italy (1), Canada (1), and India (1). Applicants included both undergraduate (7) and graduate students (9), Master's and PhD level, with diverse experiences and contributions, both technical and community/diversity-related. We are very pleased with this strong engagement and interest.
As indicated in the call, the evaluation was based on:
- Underrepresented Identity (self-declared);
- Socioeconomic Need (financial statement + supporting documentation);
- Contribution & Engagement (community activities or diversity-related initiatives);
- Letter of Recommendation.
After careful consideration, we are delighted to announce the three recipients of the ISSRE 2025 Student Travel Grants:
- Lara Gabrielly Souza Batista Lima/UFC, Brazil
- Carolina Moraes Quiterio/Unicamp, Brazil
- Elena Masserini/University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy
We warmly congratulate the awardees and thank all applicants for their interest and commitment. Your engagement demonstrates the strength and diversity of our community, and we look forward to welcoming you at ISSRE 2025.
👉 The Diversity and Inclusion Committee will contact the awardees directly with further instructions regarding the use of the grant.
